The white-headed eagle is the national bird of the United States and has been the national emblem of the United States since 1782.
The white-headed eagle also appears on most of the official seals of the Americans, in addition to the official emblem of the United States, it is also part of the seal of the President of the United States, where important laws and decisions are signed by the President.
The coin is made by US Mint and designed by designer Emily Damstra.
The combination of the white-headed eagle and the liberty whose face appears on the Statue of Liberty illustrates the importance of the United States to combine power and authority with human freedom as a fundamental principle of stately and politically thinking.
The surface of the coin depicts the libertarian currency standing above the rising sun, to the left is the well-known sentence “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the year of issue.
