Obverse
This side features Australia’s iconic animal: the giant kangaroo. Due to its long tail and long legs, the kangaroo cannot move backwards, making it a symbol of progress for the Australian people. The animal is depicted in motion, framed by a sort of sunburst. Outside this frame, the inscription: “AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO”. Upon closer inspection, you will see “P125” on the right side of the coin, marking the 125th anniversary of the renowned Australian mint, the Perth Mint. In addition, you will find the year of minting “2025”, the fine weight “1 ounce” and the purity “9999 SILVER” engraved along the obverse edge, providing information about the fine content of the coin.

Reverse
A portrait of the English King Charles III, who, unlike his mother Queen Elizabeth II, is looking to the left. On the right side, near the shoulder of the portrait, you will find the initials “DT”, indicating the creator of the portrait, Dan Thorn. Around the portrait are the inscriptions: “CHARLES III AUSTRALIA” and the value “1 DOLLAR”.
